Jr. Sales and Operations Coordinator
Part-time contractor | 25 hrs/week | $25/hr | Path to full-time employment
About the Role
GrowTal is a fast-growing talent marketplace, and we’re looking for a sharp, personable, and highly organized coordinator to join the team. This is a ground-floor opportunity for a recent graduate with a business or operations background who wants to get hands-on experience across sales, client communications, and day-to-day operations at a scaling company.
You’ll start part-time at 25 hours per week as a contractor, working directly with the Senior Operations Manager. The goal is to transition you to a full-time employee based on performance. This is a role with real growth potential for the right person.
What You'll Do
- Own sales follow-up communications, keeping conversations warm and moving forward
- Manage day-to-day expert and client communications on behalf of GrowTal
- Support hiring coordination, including scheduling and candidate outreach
- Keep operations running smoothly through task management and process adherence
- Assist with preparing reports, trackers, and internal documents to keep leadership informed
- Maintain CRM records, databases, and contact lists to ensure data accuracy
- Coordinate scheduling, meeting logistics, and follow-ups across internal and external stakeholders
- Support onboarding of new team members, contractors, or partners with documentation and logistics
- Draft and organize standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows and flag them to leadership
Who We're Looking For
- Recent university graduate or 1-2 years experience with a degree in business, operations, marketing, or a related field
- Smart, personable, and eager to learn — you bring energy and professionalism to every interaction
- Willingness to learn AI workflows using Claude and other LLM models
- Strong written communicator who can write a client email that feels warm and on-brand
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time across a 25-hour week
- Genuinely interested in startups, talent, or tech. You want to understand the business, not just execute tasks
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRM tools or project management platforms (e.g. Monday, Airtable, Notion)
- Exposure to sales processes or client-facing roles, even in a part-time or internship capacity
Compensation & Growth Path
- Starting rate: $25/hr at 25 hours/week as a contractor
- Growth path: The goal is to transition you to a full-time employee based on performance outcomes and benefits.
